The museum is partly accessible to people with disabilities.
The main entrance, museum shop, auditorium, toilets, and exhibition halls are fully accessible to all visitors. Plus there's an elevator in the new wing. However, the 17th-century house of Rembrandt has no elevator or other facilities available for disabled people and is therefore not very accessible.
The museum is accessible to visitors with guide or assistance dogs. However, please note that the many stairs may not be suitable for every assistance dog. You may be asked for a valid certificate for the assistance dog.
A gender-neutral restroom, women’s and men’s restrooms, and a wheelchair accessible restroom are available in the museum.
