Experience the essence of Amsterdam on a one-hour canal cruise through the city's UNESCO-listed waterways. Starting in the medieval center, founded in the 13th century on marshland, you'll pass rows of narrow canal houses, many of which lean slightly due to their age and original foundations.

Sail past the old port, where Amsterdam’s maritime history comes into view, including a replica of the 18th-century ship Amsterdam, located near the National Maritime Museum. As the cruise continues, you'll reach the area where the Amstel River—the city's namesake—merges with the canal network, offering a glimpse into the lifeblood of historic trade routes.

The route then winds through the Grachtengordel, a 17th-century canal belt developed during the Dutch Golden Age. This elegant district features three major canals lined with grand merchant houses, historic bridges, and classic Dutch architecture.

There is an audio guide available onboard our boats. The audio is available in Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Catalan, Turkish, Polish, Thai, Indonesian, Russian, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Hebrew, and Hindi.
You may only exit the boat when the cruise has finished.
Our closed boats are heated when it is cold outside. However, we advise dressing warmly and bringing an umbrella for the time between arrival at the quay and the boat’s departure.
There is no bar on board.
Our boats are accessible to people who can stand and walk a few steps unassisted. Strollers and wheelchairs cannot be taken on board, but they can be safely placed on the quayside (please note we are not responsible for personal belongings).
Dogs are not allowed on board, except service dogs.
Most of our boats have a toilet, but this is not guaranteed. At the Lovers Quay by Central Station, you can use the restrooms at the Lovers Café (€1). Semi-open boats do not have toilets.
Bringing food and drinks on board is not allowed.
Smoking is not permitted on board, not even on the aft deck.

Free cancellation or rescheduling is allowed up to 24 hours before the experience.

By car: There are various ways to reach your destination, including heading southeast on Haarlemmer Houttuinen, continuing onto Nieuwe Westerdokstraat, then Prins Hendrikkade. Use the middle lane to make a U-turn at Martelaarsgracht/Melkmarktsbrug/Westelijke Toegangsbrug, then turn right. The destination will be on the right. GPS navigation is highly advised.

By public transportation: You can easily reach your destination by taking trams 2, 12, or 17 to the Centraal Station tram stop, followed by a four-minute walk.

By taxi: You can easily reach your destination by taking a taxi or by using a ride-hailing app.
