Keukenhof, set in the heart of the Netherlands, opens each spring for a short seasonal window, welcoming visitors to one of the world's most visited botanical gardens. The park offers over seven million bulbs across its grounds, with displays ranging from vibrant tulip flower gardens to beds of hyacinths and daffodils in full colour.
As one of the largest tulip gardens in the world, Keukenhof gardens operate on a strictly limited seasonal schedule, making the location a sought-after destination during the spring months. Situated within the wider Amsterdam region, the grounds are designed for unhurried exploration, with scenic pathways, themed planting displays, and open views across the flower park.
Visitors to this flower garden move through the landscape at their own pace, whether on foot through the floral beds or by bike across the broader surrounding area, with a rental point available at parking lot P1. The visit is structured around self-guided gardens tours, with no fixed tulip tour itinerary, allowing time to pause, observe, and take in the seasonal scenery.
