Take in Amsterdam from a whole new angle at the A'DAM Lookout, located inside the iconic A'DAM Tower in Amsterdam.

From the observation deck, you can enjoy wide views across the historic centre, the busy harbour, and the Dutch polder landscape surrounding the city. This elevated perspective also reveals Amsterdam’s famous UNESCO-listed canal network.

Inside the tower, visitors can explore a modern interactive exhibition with an audio tour that shares stories about the history and culture of Amsterdam.

For those looking for a thrill, visitors can try “Over the Edge,” one of Europe’s highest swings, which extends beyond the edge of the building. Visitors can also experience the Amsterdam VR Ride, a virtual roller-coaster journey through the city. Both attractions are available for an additional fee.

After enjoying the views and attractions, you can relax at Madam – Restaurant & Sky Bar, located at the top of the tower. It is a great spot to enjoy lunch or dinner while overlooking the city.

A'DAM Lookout is located at the top of the A'DAM Tower, the iconic building on the IJ, next to the EYE Film Institute and opposite Amsterdam Central Station.

You can easily reach the venue with the (free) ferry from behind the station

By car: There are many ways to reach your destination, including driving through the IJ-tunnel, continuing along Van der Pekstraat, crossing Van der Pekbrug, and following Badhuiskade toward Overhoeksplein. GPS navigation is highly advised.

By public transportation: For maximum convenience, take the F3 Buiksloterweg ferry boat, followed by a four-minute walk.

By taxi: You can easily reach your destination by taking a taxi or by using a ride-hailing app.
